Re: KG6 loss on 28th March or 28th April 1943

Hello.
I have come across this thread also today while looking to be unconfused after looking on another useful website for burial information and photos, Find a Grave

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg...GRid=65960357&

There is a picture of Uffz Hans Hart's grave and the headstone IS DATED 28.3.43 but his unit is given by "Fred" as 7./KG 4. It doesn't say where Fred got the unit information from. How likely is it that the date on the headstone is also a typo? Could it be two different crashes and confusion about which crew was on which aircraft, or two UFFZ Hans Harts! Does anyone have the NVM for these units, although, being on the Eastern Front it seems very unlikely that a crewman from 7./KG 4 would be washed up on the Dutch coast! Probably a transfer from 7./KG 4 to 9./KG 6 at some time, or more typos?
Looking forward to being finally unconfused.

All the best.

Bob.
