In general it was easy to maintain and rugged, except for some undercarriage weaknesses. As for handling, it was indeed an excellent one to handle and very easy to fly, excepting the U.S. aversion for automatic engine controls, i.e. cowl flaps, supercharger ratio, mixture had to be manually set increasing pilot workload.
