Re: Soviet losses 4-5. May 1945

No. All of these (except for the Pe-2) were lost to flak, which does not surprise me at all. In those final days the Luftwaffe had no power (no planes, no airfields, no fuel, no ammo, no nothing) and overall I am very sceptic about their final 'claims'. The ground forces were able to catch some low flying planes here and there, but realistically: that was all.

On May 4-5, 1945 the 565, 996 and 571 ShAP still had heavy fights in the Bern-Sternberg-Olomouc area where they lost a few planes. All to flak!

The 17 VA, 136 ShAD, 715 ShAP lost an IL-2 at Miroslav, Czech on May 7, 1945 to flak again. (IL-2, S/N: 12656, engine no.: 2516962, tail No.: '25', мл.л-т Кравцев Петр Васильевич crew, KIA).

The next day, on May 8, 1945 - without the details - the 571 ShAP lost 3 IL-10: 1892604, 1890604 and 1893203, the 565 ShAP lost 2 IL-2: 9816 and 10529, while the 996 ShAP lost one IL-2. (No.: 18845111) All to flak. See some details of soviet reports on their May 4-5 losses below.
Hope this helps.
