Hello,
there is a B-17 kill of a Fw. Hoffmann of Jagdgruppe West listed for 31Dec43. May it be that this guy and 130-Experte Gerhard Hoffmann are one and the same person?
On the one hand the rank fits and there is a scoring gap of more than four months is Hoffmann's JG52 tally.
On the other hand he is reported to have joined JGr West not until May44. But he may have served two tours there (?)
