I know that the bomber had a midair collision with a German fighter and the right wing was badly damaged. After the MAC the B17 was attacked by FW-190's. I am searching for more details of this event( What happened with the german fighter and who claimed this aircraft).

According to my information this was B-17G with AF Serial 42-31451 of 306 Bomb Group 367 Bomb Squadron
crashed 11-01-1944 at 13.30 h near hotel "de witte raaf"
Pilot: 2/Lt Ross A. McCollum
I know that 19 bombers of 306 BG were attacked by I./JG 26 west of Nordhorn.
306 BG lost 5 bombers (2 at Raalte/Epe/Schalkhaar and Nijverdalseberg)
I./JG 26 lost 3 a/c all pilots survived.
Fw Wiegand c/l at Deelen, Uffz Heinz Vogt bailed out and a 2nd Staffel a/c also crashlanded.
