Hi both;

One Wellington flew westbound via Iceland in 1941.
(First Westbound crossing by landplane via Iceland).
Z8771 dep Reykjavik for Gander, Newfoundland in late evening 21.08.1941 - landing there early in the morning next day. ´Reverse-Lend-Lease´ I belive. It went to USA - Wright Field likely - but may have been out of action by Oct 1943.
