19th December 1944, RN air crash ?

Am seeking details of a RN air crash on the 19th December 1944.
849 Sqdn , which were using Avengers around this date from HMS Victorious and/or Katukurunda, Ceylon( Sri Lanka).
At least one Naval Airman reported as MPK.
