He 177 fuselages for Ju 287 V1 and V2
Junkers used front parts of He 177 A fuselages to gain fast results for their swept back wing bomber Ju 287. At least V1 and V2 were built using front fuselages including cockpits of He 177 bombers.
Does anybody now which He 177 fuselages were used? Parts freshly from production or recycled fuselages. Any information would be welcome.
