in GQM loss return 11 June 1942 item 55 is listed:
1.6. 3./ZG 26 Feindflug, Auftrag: Gazala, Ursache: Flakbeschuß, Bf 110 F-2 4548 3U+US 100%.
F Oblt Bittner vermisst
Bf Fw Hörning vermisst.
Correction from 18 Jan 1943: Besatzung Oblt Bittner gefallen.
