Last night I wrote longish post about this aircraft and then for some log in reasons I've lost the post
so here is short version.
Photo of this aircraft is published in J-V Lorant & R Goyat's JG 300 "Wilde Sau" Volume 1 book (Eagle Editions) and is listed as belonging to II./JG 300.
Furthermore - profile which is quite different from renders made in 70s and 80s mentioned above is published on the page 329 (artwork by T. Tullis).
Armorama published a review (
HERE) and the profile of the aircraft is included (
PROFILE).
Profile (and photo) show lighter area under/around the "21" on the fuselage and I strongly believe that the aircraft could have been just wiped clean in that area rather than painted... but again who will know.
