Just a quick note.

"85 Years of the SAAF" compiled by Winston Brent
Has the following -

MJ521 - IX - 7 - engine failure 15 miles S of Ogudine, cr/landed 01.05.45. [ page 302 ].
Note spelling of Ogudine.
MJ521 - 7 - 01.05.45 - Lt. EE Stott (s).[ page 309 ].

MH540 - 7 - s/d by flak, abandoned 01.05.45. [ page 301 ].
MH540 - 7 - 01.05.45 - Lt. JCG Logan (s). [ page 309 ].
Note one day difference for both events.

While "Spitfire International" has the following -
Page 312.
MJ521 - Spitfire LF.IXc - (Merlin 66 ); TOC /RAF 29.11.43;
MAAF 12.4.45 - SAAF (MTO), No.7 Sqn, hit by AA 15 m S of Oguvin, Cat.FB/E 2.5.45 ( Lt. EE Stott retd to Sqn on 6.5.44); SOC 31.5.45.
Note spelling of Oguvin and error of year.

Page 3308.
MH540 - Spitfire LF.IXc ( Merlin 66); TOC/RAF 26.8.43;
NAASC 31.10.43 - SAAF ( MTO), No.7 Sqn, failed to return, hit by flak in San Lorenzo de Valli area/4m S of Zagreb, Cat.FB/E 2.5.45 ( 1Lt JCG Logan PoW ); SOC 31.5.45.

7 Sqn SAAF code was "TJ".
