joyban - Thanks for posting this . If July 1943 is correct is w.n. 1267 I/TG5 shot down on the 26th July east of Cape Rera(?) a possibility 3 killed and 6 injured.
In 1984 the Daily Mail reported on the meeting between Walter Honig pilot of Me 323 wn 1274 and Gil Graham gunner from the Marauder who shot him down causing a crash-landing on the north coast of Corsica on 30-7-43. Hopefully the Daily Mail has not linked the Honig incident to this new discovery which has come down in the sea, perhaps a werk-nummer will turn up,
