403th sqn RCAF against II/JG53 on july 2nd 1944
Hi all,
searching about Alfred Ostermeyer, 4/JG53, I would be very interested about elements concerning his airfight on july 2nd 1944. He was wounded in airfight, getting a bullet in leg, and bailed out successfully.
It seems he was shot down by the 403th sqn RCAF.
Do someone have missions reports/claims lists/statements of that squadron giving some details of the airfight?
maybe name of the allied pilot who shot the Alfred Ostermeyer down?
plane crashed near Saint -Sylvain, south east of Caen.
