Big Week February 1944 RAF fighter escort
Hello everyone,
during the February 1944 Big Week operation, several airfields in the Netherlands were raided by USAAF B-26 bombers, escorted by RAF fighter aircraft.
Were these RAF fighters involved in the strafing of airfields or solely flying escort?
