But I thought bombracks were recordered as "M1" or something, as for D-3 and E-1 at that time such munitions were used and recordered... Am I wrong?
Note: "1940's" C-7 are only ex-C-4 and ex-C-5 (according Petrick). But there are many "another" C-7's, wich appear in 1941-44, and their W.Nr.'s are in (most of them) from C-2 blocks. I think that "early" C-7's were made on factory, but "other" C-7's were tuned-up after repair.
