Re: Me 262 Jagdverband Honor Goblet sponsored by Messerschmitt Augsburg
Meanwhile, I found out that the Messerschmitt engineer's name who once owned the goblet was "Heyer". In 1947 he went to Argentinia via the Vatikan. Sometimes in 1972 he visited Adolf Galland (apparently together with a Hauptmann a.D. who served under Galland).
Does the name "Heyer" ring any bells? I couldn't find his name in my books, but I just made a quick search for it in the indexes of some books.
I'd be really glad if someone could help finding out more about this rare item.
Regards,
