Information concerning loss of Uffz. Christian Schmalen killed 21.11.42
Hi,
Can anyone provide information on the loss of Uffz. Christian Schmalen who was a pilot in a reconnasiance squadron and was lost on 21st November 1942? He was just 22 years of age. Thank you. Rick

GQM loss return 23 Nov 1942 item 59: 21.11.42 Ergänzungs-Fernaufklärungsgruppe Weimar-Nohra, crash at Dielsdorf, Ju 88 A-5 WNr. 469, 100%. F Uffz Christian Schmalen + Bs Fw August Eickhoff +. Handwritten amendment: loss category 22 = destroyed without enemy action on a non-operational flight. Regards Leo
