His victories are listed in Wikipedia, which is quite an obvious source, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinz_Hackler There is also a French site which lists all the victories of JG 77 in 1943 http://www.cieldegloire.fr/jg_077d.php Unfortunately, I don't have access to any detailed reports of his victories. Confirmed with Stab.III./JG 77 there are only two(nr's 24-25) ;- 9th November 1942 P-40 10km East of Sollum 1446 hrs 500 metres altitude 18th November 1942 P-40 10km NE Magrun 1237 hrs 400 metres A.S.M With 8./JG 77:- 15th March 1943 P-38 30km West of Gafsa 1448 hrs 800 metres 29th March 1943 P-40 25km South of Maknassy 1910 hrs tiefflug 11th April 1943 Spitfire 15km West of Tebourba 1138 hrs 100 metres Don't have a place for the next, so possibly outside of Afrika:- 7th May 1943 Spitfire 1522 hrs 1000 metres (nr.29) Ends with 37 confirmed claims, many unconfirmed claims. Bernd Barbas is working on his diaries(not flugbuch) computer translation not so hot, for instance "blau" drunk, translates as depressed ! Kind Regards Johannes |
