Hungarian Fw-190 crash during training
Few days ago I read one article from one Hungarian aircraft historian Csaba Becze about the Hungarian 102/2 fast bombers unit (Fw-190). They traininged between 06.11.1944 until January 1945 in Oels airfield to the new aircraft type Fw-190. During they training hade few accident in taxiing and one fatal crash. I am looking this last accident story: Sergeant Ferenc Szabó pilot forced landing due the engine failure and fuel problems meanwhile, his plane crashed into the embankment of the Oder. He injured and dead. The accident was 24.11.1944 in Bischofswald near the city of Breslau. Somebody have information about his aircraft Fw-190 werknummer or aircraft signal? Thank for your help.
Best regards, Balazs |
