no ORB's for 860 Sqdn.RAF (Swordfish) Fleet Air Arm ?

Hello all,

Does anyone know where I can find the war time ORB's of 860 Squadron ? This unit with many Dutch naval pilots and navigators flew with the Fairey Swordfish to protect merchant ships.

Unfortunately, the National Archives in London doesn't seem to have ORB's which puzzles me.

Many thanks in advance ! Marcel Hogenhuis

860 Sqn was not RAF but FAA and the trouble is many FAA records books no longer exist. Perhaps contact the FAA Museum at Yeovilton?

Hello Chris,

Thanks for saving a long and (eventually) disappointing search
Also thank you for the useful tip, I certainly will contact the archive there.

Best regards, Marcel
