Any added details would be appreciated

On their 56 OTU Spitfire MV*O at completion of operational training Spring 1942
(front to rear)
"Wack" Turner-Aussie
"Snuffy" Smith -USA 133 ES
"Flash" Pederson-USA 165 Sqd (52nd FG AAf KIA 2-4-43 N. Africa)
"Stinky" Miller-USA
"Burt" Watkin-Aussie
"Erk" Erke

'MV' codes were used by 53 OTU, not 56.
