Looking for N/F kill confirmation

Gents,

Can anyone please confirm who shot down Short Stirling Mk.I HA-K W7474 of No.218 Squadron on 3/4th June 1942, target Bremen.

I have two possible claims : Uffz Heinz Vinke II./NJG1 or Oblt Ludwig Becker II./NJG2.

Regards

Steve

Re: Looking for N/F kill confirmation

According to German sources (which after your last query could be inaccurate!), I have W7474 coming down 1500 m north of De Kooi at 0027 due to night fighter which matches with Becker's kill 2 km north of De Kooi at 0027 hrs

Re: Looking for N/F kill confirmation

Theo Boiten's NJWD has the following: 218 squadron Stirling W7474
Oblt Ludwig Becker (18 abschusse) 6./NJG2 2km N. de Kooy, S. Den Helder: 3000m at 00.27

Regards
Max
