Q: An Fw190 A-3 in a late war scheme of rlm82/83?

Hi everybody! i´m a venezuelan-spanish modeller finishing a tamiya Fw190 A-3. i want to finish it in this very interesting and weird camuflage scheme included in Cutting edge´s Reich defenders Part2 decals sheet. The people at cutting edge state that this cold be an eastern front airplane and maybe receive the jg 53/54 experimental schemes using russian paint stocks or could be an reich defender aircraft at late war in RLM 82/83 colors over the most common 74-75-76 RLM scheme...
I tried hard but can´t found jet any photo of this especific aircraft. here some questions please: Is it possible an operative A-3 by late 1944? Is viable an 82/83 camuflage scheme on this specific aircraft? Thanks a lot for your attention and i apologise for my english!

I can't remember seeing a photo of this particular aircraft anywhere, and with out that I'd be careful of the color side view and it's colors. This old A-3, late war, looks like a standard aircraft that survived to become a trainer, very common. The A-3 would probably have been delivered in a 71/02/65 scheme and in it's remaining years toward the end of the war would have been touched up with anything around including 82, 83. As an added comment, I can't think of a 190 being delivered or having a spinner in anything other than black or 70 tho one my find a odd one with a spinner pained white with a black curl. My opinion only with out looking anything up. I'd never do a model with out some photo back up.

Try to find source image. I know one photo of the early Fw190A in the last days of Reich.

Yes, I remember seeing a 190 A-3 in late war colours in a postwar boneyard of 109s and 190s. But, the problem is to remember where I saw it. I will look.
All the best,
George

George,

Are you referring to the Bad Aibling collection. There was an often photographed Fw 190 A-3, "8+ White," WNr. 2168, standing on its nose, that appears to be finished in a freshly applied scheme of 74/75/76.

There is a photo of wnr 2168 on pg. 26 of "Camouflage & Markings of the Luftwaffe Aircraft vol. 1 Day Fighters" from Model Art.
