Hi Chris,
I find this crew August 15th 1940, 8./KG 26 shot down by a Spitfire and ditched in the Northsea, crew rescued by "Seenotdienst" (He 59, D-AFFK), crashed again with this plane and rescued by a "Vorposten-Boot".

Hermann Riedel - as a Lt. made a emergency landing at Trondheim Vaernes airfield June 7th 1940, this time with the 6./KG 26, the plane was damaged by a Hurricane (30%), Riedel and his crew was unhurt except Uffz. Gerhard Markuse the Gunner.

Thanks Michael. This is what I have after contacting Riedel some years ago. However he knew nothing about the subsequent fates of his crew.

Just checked my photos of the damage to the He 111 on 7 Jun 40-368 hits by 46 Sqn. However, the code is 1H+LS as opposed to 1H+LP and the spinners are red which would indicate 8 Staffel?

Update to this. Scholl was commissioned and in 4 Apr 43 with 6/KG 100. He was shot down and killed as an Oblt & St Kap with 6/KG 100 20 Apr 44, promoted to Hptm and awarded DKiG posthumously
