William Green

I have been told that William Green passed away on 2 January.
Can anyone provide some details?

He definetely was the greatest pioneer of WW2 aviation history and he has inspired many people of my generation.
I had the honour of being presented to him by Robert C. Jones in 1968 and that's an event that I have never forgotten.
