LEFFRINCKOUCKE1940 is on a distinguished road
JU87D STUKA

Good afternoon everybody,

First of all, I would like to thank both of you for this very good forum. I'm new, and just suscribed today, and I would have information about Luftwaffe JU87 Stuka squadron, which were involved in the Battle of France, and especially operated during the "DYNAMO" operation in the north of France in 1940. Any pictures, information, all related comments will be very appreciated.
I started to build an Hasegawa JU87D 1/32 model, and I would like to paint and give him this period marking.
If you have information of squadron, pilot of this operation, it should be really appreciated, because I would make it as one of dive bomber of this period.
I'm looking too for information about aircraft ME BF109G-6 named "RED 29"
If you have informtion about it, let me know
Many thanks in advance
Best regards,

Re: JU87D STUKA

Hi!
A nice model, you are about to build!
You will have big trouble building a Ju 87 D that participated in the Battle of France. It simply did not flew there:-) But Ju 87 B did.

May i suggest you visit a bookshop or try the internet about this bird. Then you will find something of great interest to you, i´m sure.
There you can also find out what units participated.

So...on with your research and good luck with building and reading!!!

Best wishes
Christian
