Hello,

Wo can tell me, which Whitley crashed on November 8/9 1941
at Wassenberg-Germany.
This plane were shot down by Fritz Carstens 7./NJG1
about 20.39 hour.

Two Whitleys were lost on this night........

51 Squadron
Whitley V Z6567 MH-Z
Op. Essen

Shot down by night-fighter (Oblt Egmont Prinz zur Lippe Weissenfeld 4./NJG1) Crashed 2303 hrs near Barsingerhorn 20 km SSE of Den Helder, Holland.

102 Squadron
Whitley V Z9212 DY-
Op. Essen

Shot down by night-fighter and crashed in the vicinity of Koln.
