A Bf 109 G-6/AS or G-14 at Paderborn, 1945
Hi there gang,
Just caught this new Bf 109 G-6/AS or G-14/AS picture, shot in 1945 near Paderborn by a member of the 3rd Armored Division Maintenance Battalion. Pfc Eddie Roubic is seated in the cockpit. http://36thair3ad.homestead.com/3ADM...nalPhotos.html Scroll down to see it. The small wing bulges and the D/F loop position and the top of the tall tail unit can be seen clearly. IMHO, the possibility that it could be a G-10 produced by Erla can be discounted as the rear engine bulge can be quite clearly seen. Cheers Marc
