Info on Loss of Lt(jg) Clinton Wear

I'm trying to find the side number or tail number for FG-1D BuNo 76732 flown by Lt(jg) Clinton Everett Wear (337772) of VBF-83 when he was lost at Ominato Bay, Honshu, Japan on 10 Aug 45.
