Re: Alfred Eric Davies 610 squadron

I have quite a bit of local material on A E Davies.

Oddly, I have also been trying to find his family for some years but without luck.

Im puzzeled as to what happened to his Spitfire as one report said he had a wing shot off but then another says N3119 was repaired and used as a technical trainer ive found one combat report stating he bagged a ME 109 before he was killed, just inteerested in what he looked like not been able to find anything in 610 or 222 squadron photos

Re: Alfred Eric Davies 610 squadron

My friend who is the secretary of the 610 Sqn Association in Chester says they have very little on PO Davies but they do have this photo taken at Acklington.
