Kapitan Chernetsov, 57 GIAP, 1943
Christer Bergstrom with Vlad Antipov and Claes Sundin, Graf & Grislawski. A Pair of Aces, Hamilton MT, 2003, Eagle Editions, pp. 156-161 describes how, over the Kuban bridgehead, Grislawski twice fought Spitfires led by Kapitan Chernetsov, a former I-16 pilot.
Does anyone know anything about this Soviet pilot aside from what is in this source? I would be most grateful for any references. thanks, David Isby
