René,

Using the CWGC search engine http://www.hut-six.co.uk/cgi-bin/search39-47.php with 12/09/1944 and 254 Squadron there is one other casualty mentioned: F/O Peter N. Hemy, also commemorated at Runnymede.

But perhaps another board member can confirm if F/O Hemy was indeed on NE439.

Groet,

Leendert

Hello René,

It was indeed F/O Hemy as Leendert already pointed out. The fuselage code was QM-G.

What is your particular interest in this loss?

Regards,
Hans
