Hello to all
The 3rd October 1944 , the 55th FG 38th FS loss one A/C #44-14097 I am looking for the circumstances of this event, who was the pilot ? where he crashed or landed? Many thanks in advance Regards Phil

Lt. Alfred E Carr Jr. 38th FS hit by flak on his first mission. Go to Russ' site at http://www.55th.org/ and look him up in the 38th pilot listing for a first hand account.
