Me 262's runway???
Hello,
In order to 'kill a legend' of nearly 70 year old, I would like to know if someone else has a knowledge (rumor?) about a German 'runway' situated North of Elsenborn Army camp (in Belgium), at the German hamlet 'Am Krummen Ast' in the 'Hohes Venn' district. Moreover It is said some Me 262's were allocated there which seems doubtful if not ridiculous as the main landscapes are bushes and soggy soil, but who knows... legends are difficult to kill. Any hint, perhaps a short-term flugplatz there? Best regards ClinA-78
