Operation Steinbock

Hello,
During Operation Steinbock between January and May 1944, I would like to know where I was stationed in France. I./SKG 10. It was on this airfield in Brittany ?

Re: Operation Steinbock

Ok thank you, but I have lost the Fw 190 A-G-3-(WNr. 60,609). Ofw. Hans-Rudolf Lüders. Killed near Saint Brieuc. I was told that while I. Gruppe was in Brittany. Rennes, Vannes, Lorient. Probably unofficial presence. Rosières being in the north of France.

Re: Operation Steinbock

I/SKG 10 moved around dependant on the target. I am away at the moment but will check my records on my return .

Re: Operation Steinbock

Lüders baled out 50 kms west of Dinard during an attack on Plymouth 29-30 Apr 44 so I expect that I/SKG 10 had positioned themselves in Brittany for such an attack. It would appear that they were moving between Rosieres and Tours West as well at this time
