Information concerning oberfeldwebel Martin Kriegel
Hi,
Just obtained a POW photo of group of Luftwaffe airmen Powed in Canada. Writer of photo postcard is a Oberfeldwebel Martin Kriegel. Photo is dated August 21st 1942. Does anyone have any information on his loss/capture and unit etc Thanks Rick

1940-09-03, 5./KG 2, Do 17 Z-2, 3450, U5+AN, Lofge Farm bei Pyefleet Creek, Langenhoe, 6 km südlich Colchester, Essex, Absturz infolge Jägerbeschuß. Bruch 100 %.
Flugzeugführer Lt Schildt, Heinz-Günther, + Hilfsbeobachter Fw Kriegel, Martin, gefangen Bordfunker Gefr Niegisch, Paul, + Bordmechaniker Uffz Swientek, Emil, + Matti
