So II./JG53, Grazzaniese 9/9/1943 or 10./JG27, 1944 as indicated in stammkenzeichen.de?

To complete the figure, here included an eBay photo found in "already sold"
Only xx+CT of course but quite a coincidence today during my "Graal" quest.
Nevertheless, it matches with A.I.2(g) report description.

Last, place on back?

Hi there Franck,

The only indication I have for your "?N+CT" correlates in effect to W.Nr. 18 873, damaged 25% by bombing, Cancello, 26 August 1943.

Hi Guys,

From the same seller and still in "already sold" pictures ... this one too.

On picture's back is written "Volturno", definitely.

We are Lucky since it's Grazzanise/Caserte and - indeed - Cancello vicinity; Volturno being the river crossing the area.
Matches better now if any doubt left.

Last, in A.I.2(g) report we can find a "Schwarze 7" WNr.15467 of 8./JG53

NOTE (To give a finishing touch to these):
A.I.2(g) report - as given by Prien - writes "Grazzaniese" when correct orthography is Grazzanise. And what is recorded as "Cancello" bombings did really happen ON Grazzanise airport/airfield!

And here we have another Erla built G-6; great Franck!. This particular plane was also 55% damaged 23 August 1943 at Cancello, owing to a US raid.

My source states Bf 109 G-6 W.Nr. 15 467, II./JG 53, 21 August 1943, 55% damage due to pilot error at landing, Cancello Fl.P. Source: 'Gen.Qu.6.Abt. (mfm #11)-Vol.20; Gen.Qu.6.Abt. (mfm #12)-Vol.23; Prien, JG 53, II, p.1054 via G. Morrisson W.Nr. list.

BUT!

If the report in Prien's is complete we have that: (See attachment)
All from Regensburg AG except two from WNF and two we don't know but with number 2 and Black 12

We have only one Erla Black 7!!! Can be ours; hence not from 8./JG53 but from 5./JG53.

As for the loss report Marc: it does confirm that A.I.2(g) is wrong ... or misinterpreted by Herr Doctor himself!

SO 15467, 5./JG53 and not 8. Staffel.
