Question Wolfgang Schnauffer aircraft

Recently I came across a depiction of his Bf-110 in the spring of 1944 g9-DF- this is one of the aircraft featured on an Owl Decals sheet. I was wondering if anyone out there knows in what book this was gleaned from? I would like to research this a lillte more. I think this would make an interesting marking selection for the 1/32nd scale model I am doing.

Your best bet would probably be the bio done of him a few years ago. I don't remember the title, by a google search should help in that regard.

I cannot locate such a photo in Hinchliffe's biography of Schnaufer, published by Tempus in 1999.

Re: Wolfgang Schnauffer aircraft

But it does list his known aircraft doesn't it? Also there may be a NFer title in Schiffer's catalog that has photo(s). I have original German edition.

There's no listing as such in the Hinchliffe book - various aircraft are mentioned throughout the text and there's an appendix discussing possible aircraft flown from Autumn 1944.
