Heinkel loss at 11th September 1940
HelloCan somebody help with my enquiry ?? There are discrepancies at the data of one Luftwaffe loss.September 11th, 1940, Heinkel 111 H-3 (work no. 5606, code V4+FA) Stabsstaffel/KG 1 Hindenburg Who has shot down this airplane and where it has fallen away ???shooting by 303 Sqdn-. P/O Frantisek (source: F.K. Mason/Battle over Britain)?shooting by 66 Sqdn P/O Bodie and Watkinson -- (source: The Battle of Britain then and now)? or shooting by 74 Sqdn F/L Freeborn -- (source: The Battle Of Britain Then And Now)?Which source is correct ??Fall place: Does Camber or Horsham sew?Can somebody give me more information about this day and use of the Stabsstaffel of the KG1 unit from 1939 to 9-11-1940?(I know the day reports from the internet) Furthermore I am interested in the history of the British pilots, too.I am grateful for every note.Kind greetingsKaydet51
