76 years ago today, IV(St)/LG1 lost 1 Ju87 and 1 damaged:

11(St)/LG1.
Junkers Ju87B ( ). Sortie to England, shot down by RAF fighters and crashed in the Channel off Dover, Kent. Crew unhurt. Aircraft lost.

Junkers Ju87B ( ). Sortie to England, damaged by RAF fighters and crash landed on return at St.Inglevert A/F, France. Crew unhurt. Aircraft 10% damaged.

But its the first Ju87 that interests me. Ju87 'crashed' with both crew unhurt? And 'crashed in the Channel off Dover'? was the crew rescued by Seenot?

I am guessing the target was shipping in the Channel off Dover?

Many thanks, Steve
