RAF 14 Sqn Blenheim Z5863 (15 Apr 1941)

Hello

I wonder if anyone has any information on a crew member of this aircraft (Mk IV Z5863) that failed to return from a mission.

The mission was a 2 ship Blennie Halfayah (Helffire pass)
They had to land at Ma'aten Bagush en route for further orders then on to target .
Only one Blennie made it back to Ma'aten Bagush.

The crew

Sergeant Allan Hugh Fraser (KIA)

Sergeant E Smith - (POW)

I am to date unable to track down any history on Smith, who is listed as POW but no other information. (Nationality/Service no/fate?)

A photograph taken by a German soldier recently surfaced showing the wrecked tail section of the aircraft which has tweaked some interest.

If anyone has any further info on the flight or Sgt Smith it would be appreciated.
Thanks
