Fw190 7./JG2 (III Gruppe) in April 1942?
On this date 7./JG2 claimed five Spitfires at c.1530. I believe they encountered 401 and 485 Squadrons. No Spitfires were lost and no losses are recorded by JG2. The Spitfires claimed three Fw190 destroyed and four damaged. Were 7 Staffel or III/JG2 equipped with Fw190 on this date? Most sources state they did not receive these until May/June 1942.

What date? 16 April 1942? They began converting May 1942 and finished in June 1942 hence no kills 6 May to 2 June 1942
