Fi 156 lost in Belgium on 10 may 1940 or during the Bulge ?
Hi to all,
I have a Fieseler Storch Heine wooden propeller numbered 70042 made for an As 10 C motor. It could be come from a Fi 156 lost during the battle of the Bulge in the vincinity of the village of Bande, in the belgian Ardennes . Altough, I think it's most probable it comes from the Niwi operation during the invasion of the 10 may 1940. Th villages of Nives an Witry ( + Léglise ) are in the fact about only 10-15 kilometers from Bande. Do you have a listing of the Fi 156 lost in Belgium on 10 may 1940 and during the Bulge with the places ? Thanks a lot. Best regards.
