wel, finished it few days ago.
Very interesting book, talking about the performance and handling of the Spit and 109 in the BoB period. It's a technical book, not an historical one, it gives another approach to the history and how it has been told for 80years. It also brakes and confirms certain myths about those 2 airplane based on modern aerodynamics calculations. Each chapter is fitting into the next one, everything is perfeclty assembled.
The added bonus: it's vulgarising the aerodynamics' calculations allowing the reader to clearly understand what the writer is talking about, the book also serves as "aerodynamics for dummies".
