601 Sqn Airacobra AH577

According to a list of Air Britain images there is a photo of the aircraft on the title (was in an Air Britain Aeromilitira printed in 1997). Does anybody have a copy of it???? Reason for asking. It was the first Airacobra issued to the Squadron while based at Matlask (they picked it up from Coltishall), before the Squadron moved to Duxford and I want to do a Profile of it

Hi Richard,

I have several pictures of the Airacobras made at Matlask. I will check them after return from office.

Regards,
Michal

Richard,

I don´t have it.
Mentioned Aeromilitaria with the picture should be the issue No.3/97. I think it contains IWM copies of the photos No. CH3711 and CH3728 which show your machine.

I don't know if the pictures here and on the following page are of any use, but they are interesting.
