Help please seeking info on 4 Luftwaffe pilots

Seeking help or information on four Luftwaffe pilots, no matter how small.

Alfred Ostemyer
Otto Russ
Gunther Worm
Karl-Heinz Trettau

All four from 11./JG53 were shot down by way of 403 Sq on 2nd July 1944.three were given as FTR. although at least Karl-Heinze did return later.

As far as I am aware, at least Karl-Heinz is still with us. He was a keen motor racing driver and champion skier in the 1950s through the 1980s.

I have a photograph of Otto Russ, any other photos or possible source of same also appreciated

I would especially like to contact any of these chaps if at all possible.

Many thanks.

Many thanks for that, always good to have a bit more !!

I am actually researching the history of Spitfire ML411 and the pilot J.D. Lindsay of 403 RCAF sqdn.

Three of the four a/c were shot down on 02/07/44 in a single combat sortie by Lindsay east of Caen.

Do you have anything on another victory claim by 403 sqdn / Lindsay, 3rd August 44.?

1855-2000, Armed recce- Argentan/L'Aigle/Bernay. when Lindsay s/d A Me109 confirmed. nothing else known.

Another !!
Same Spitfire different pilot, 26th June 44. 0615- 0725. armed recce- Caumont/Argentan J.D.Orr shot down Me109 confirmed. and damaged another.

Absolutely anything is helpful.......

Again, many thanks.
Regards.
