Re: P-47 42-75532

According "Losses of US 8th and 9th Air Forces" this a/c was of 352FG, HQSq.
MACR 2124. Pilot ran out of gas and baled out at 7,000 ft. The P-47 crashed at Rouillac, about 12 miles north-west of Angouleme, France. EVD.
Fought with the Maquis and was captured but escaped from hospital and evaded via Spain.
