Yes Chris i know that one, was wondering if someone has seen or has a pic of the specific a/c in the title, parts of it were recovered last year in Romania from a lake.

The Digital Picture Archives of the Federal Archives http://www.bild.bundesarchiv.de/ search for Ukraine, Wasserflugzeug BV 138 Bild 101I-710-0395-04 If interested, there are others undigitized, part of a serie I think.

Many thanks udf, that looks to be it ! Too bad that the resolution is low, i guess the only way to see it at a better resolution and to look for other is to go directly to the Bundesarchiv right ?

Hi,
As you have the referencefor one of the images in the series, you should be able to order a low res image of the entire negative set it came from. You can go on from there to order good scans of the ones of interest. Probably cheaper than a trip Regards, Andreas B

Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!
