Werk Nummer 1222 was among the aircraft found at Valence-La Trésorerie. Camouflage is described as olive green and duck-egg blue, mottled. The spinner was black with a while spiral. Its condition: "cockpit badly burnt out by ignition of fuel tank. Aircraft shot up from front."

National markings were German and all the instruments were German too. No tactical markings are mentioned. Two other Re 2002s at the airfield had a yellow fuselage band and yellow beneath the wings (standard for foreign aircraft used on operations).
