Re: 362nd FG 29/4/1945 MACR 14218
Hi,
Paul Hayes was the pilot of 377FS 362 FG P47 44-32772 on the 29/4/45 SE of Nurnberg. This was an accident so no MACR. Virgil P Kirkham was killed on the 30th , but was he the pilot of P47 44-89700 that was lost MACR 14219 on the 30th ? Your 44 -19925 was MACR 14218 of the 29th April 45. Also lost to accidents on the 29th were 44-33668 from the 378FS 362 FG pilot Richard A. Cline 44-33745 from the 377FS 362 FG pilot William R. Peterson 44-20281 from the 377FS 362 FG pilot Robert W. Dunham Again no macr's on these . You can get AAR's though. All for now. Alex |

Re: 362nd FG 29/4/1945 MACR 14218
Hello Alex
Thanks for the information but I have already all of them, the only problem is the MACR 14218 I have the microfilms of this unit and I don’t have found anything concerning such loss that day!! Maybe the unit is wrong ?? I think I will ask it at the AFHRA . Regards Phil |
